The Katsina state government has lifted the curfew imposed during the #EndBadGovernance protest.
Abdullahi Aliyu-Yar’Adua, the state’s director of press, made the announcement on Tuesday in a statement.
“Following reports of prevailing peace and harmony across the state, the acting governor, Faruk Lawal-Jobe, has lifted the curfew with immediate effect,” Aliyu-Yar’Adua said.
He noted that the decision will allow residents resume their normal activities without hindrance.

The director urged residents to promptly report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
He also reiterated the government’s commitment to addressing the security challenges in the state.
Lawal-Jobe thanked security agents and the public for their support and cooperation, while appealing for peace to prevail.

“No meaningful development can be achieved in an atmosphere of insecurity,” he said.
