Nasir Idris, Kebbi state governor has appointed 200 youths from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as his special assistants.
The appointments, which include both men and women, were presented by Abubakar Kana-Zuru, the state’s APC chairman, at the party’s secretariat.
He expressed his satisfaction with the governor’s leadership, noting that, during the electioneering campaign, APC members traversed every corner of the state to seek the people’s mandate.
He also lauded the governor for fulfilling 80 percent of the promises made to the electorate.

Other accomplishments include the construction of triple- and double-lane roads equipped with solar-powered streetlights in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, and the completion of a state-of-the-art, multibillion-naira secretariat.
“We, Kebbi people are glad. God has blessed us with a governor who does good to both who do good to him as well as those who do bad,” Aisha Gulabi, APC women leader in the state, said.
