Kelechi Nwakali, Nigerian midfielder, has joined Spanish second division side, SD Huesca, on a three-year deal.
Arsenal, his former club, made this announcement on its official website on Monday.
Nwakali joined Arsenal in 2016 after captaining the Golden Eaglets team to win the 2015 U-17 FIFA World cup in Chile.
He won the Golden Ball award as the tournament’s best player.

“Kelechi Nwakali has joined Spanish Segunda Division side, SD Huesca in a permanent deal,” Arsenal said in a statement.
“We would like to wish Kelechi all the best for the future. The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”
SD Huesca also took to their official Twitter handle to announce the signing of Nwakali.

He joined MW Maastricht on loan in the 2016/17 season.
The 21-year old then spent the first half of the 2017/18 season on loan at VVV Venlo in the Dutch Eredivisie.
He went back to MW Maastricht on another loan before moving to FC Porto.

In 2018/19 season, he spent time on loan with FC Porto in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
