Anyansi-Agwu: Nothing wrong with Keshi getting new deal

Stephen Keshi will no longer be referred to as “out-of-contract Super Eagles coach” if the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) takes the recommendation of its technical and development committee.

Chairman of the committee, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, disclosed that the committee has made recommendations to the board to renew the contract of the Big Boss, saying his return is the right decision since he is the only man considered for the position in the first place.

“The contract issue concerning Keshi has been discussed, and the decision now rests with the board to take a decision. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Keshi returning to his position since he is the only person considered for the job,” Anyansi-Agwu said.

But it is understood that Keshi’s new contract won’t come without clauses that will make him answerable to the technical committee.
