Dayo Adekoya, secretary of Ikosi north estate landlord association in Lagos state, who was abducted from his residence on kidnapped by some gunmen on Thursday, had regained his freedom.
Fatai Owoseni, commissioner of police in Lagos, who confirmed his release to reporters on Monday, did not say if any ransom was paid.
He said the secretary was in good health, and had been reunited with his family.
