Earlier this month, leaders and entertainers across Africa gathered at the US capital, Washington DC for the US Africa Leaders summit.
African Entertainers in conjunction with ONE.org used the opportunity to appeal to African leaders to make agriculture a top priority for their economies.
Victoria Kimani represented East African nation Kenya at this summit and did not fair to gain attention with her music and her many fashionable African attires.
President Goodluck Jonathan was amongt the African leaders welcomed by President Barack Obama from across the African continent to the nation’s capital for a three-day US-Africa Leaders Summit, the first such event of its kind.

The summit, the largest event any US president has held with African heads of state and government, is built on the president’s trip to Africa in the summer of 2013 and aimed at strengthening ties between the United States and one of the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing regions.
