“The ministry will look into how to improve your working condition here. During our phone-in programme on radio this morning, we were able to see how important this radio station is to Kogi-east and the entire south-eastern part of Nigeria.

“We will not miss the opportunity to shine with the coverage offered by this radio station.”

The commissioner also visited the palace of Musa Yahaya, the Omachi Attah Onu Ochaja. He commended the royal father and the entire people of Ochaja for their support to the radio station over the years.

“His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello sees the traditional institution as a veritable partnership towards attaining peace and citizens mobilization for development.

“What your royal highness has demonstrated here is a confirmation of the wisdom of the governor in keeping faith with our traditional institutions.”

Responding, the monarch praised Fanwo, saying he is the first commissioner to visit his palace.
