Krystal Chanchangi Foundation pledges to pay the fees of 25 pupils at Tudun Fulani Junior Secondary School in Abuja.

The non-profit visited the school in Bwari through a delegation led by its US-based founder Krystal Chanchagi.

It donated educational materials including books, writing materials, snacks, food supplies, and packs of drinks.

During the visit, the foundation also pledged to offset the school fees of 25 pupils in the school at a date not later than September 20.

Staff of the school were also gifted traditional fabric.

The foundation said the visit is part of its effort to alleviate the cost of living crisis that has unsettled many families in Nigeria.

“Some parents have withdrawn their kids from schools as a result in inability to pay their fees, a situation that may threaten the future of such kids,” it said.

“It is believed that the intervention by the foundation will bring some relief to parents while the pupils concentrate on their education.”

This is not the first time the Krystal Chanchangi Foundation has undertaken intervention projects in schools.

Recently, it donated some cooling systems to Community Secondary School Oraifite in Anambra state.

This, it said, was to advance its campaign for the empowerment of next generation, creating a conducive atmosphere for teaching.
