The Lagos state government says it will arraign the suspected kidnappers, Yishau Goriola Oseni, the Oniba of Iba, before a high court in Igbosere on Monday.
The incident led to death of one Sunday Eniola Okanlawon, a palace security guard and Joseph Okeke a commercial motorcycle rider.
In a statement on Sunday, Adeniji Kazeem, attorney-general and commissioner for justice, said the four suspects — Duba Furejo, Ododomo Isaiah, Reuben Anthony and Yerin Fresh would be arraigned before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of Court 24 on eight-count charges bordering on conspiracy to murder, murder, armed robbery and kidnapping.
Kazeem reiterated the determination of the Akinwunmi Ambode administration to deal with the scourge of kidnapping, cultist killings, rape and murder.

“The swift commencement of the trial of the suspects in the kidnap of the Oniba is a strong signal by the administration of governor Akinwunmi Ambode that it is not business as usual for criminals,” Kazeem said.
“If you commit a crime, we will find you and prosecute you no matter how long it takes.
