The Bank of Industry (BOI) has donated N700 million towards a relief fund set up to fight against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Giving a breakdown, Kayode Pitan, BOI CEO, said N500 million would be given to the private sector coalition against COVID-19 (CACOVID).
“This donation will go towards a fund that has been created to provide more testing, isolation and treatment centres across all geo-political zones,” Pitan said.
In addition, the bank said N100 million would be given to the FCT ministerial committee on COVID-19 and another N100 million to the Lagos state government.
