The Youth Party, on Thursday, presented witnesses for testimony at the Lagos local government election tribunal.
The first witness, an educationist, who acted as a party agent for Youth Party in Lekki, testified that there was a meeting between APC members during the election at her Polling Unit.
Also, she testified that the name of the Youth Party was missing on the collation sheet, and when she complained, it was manually written.
The second witness testified that the electoral commission moved the officially recognised collation center to a different location without notice or compelling reason.

He further testified that LASIEC excluded the Party’s name from the final results sheet, where electoral officials had allegedly adjusted.
The witness further noted that despite having signed copies of result sheets, the results were tampered with once they arrived at the collation center.
The third witness, a hairstylist, testified before the tribunal that he witnessed multiple thumb printing by party supporters, who colluded with the electoral officers.

He testified that the culprits were brazenly bridging a primary electoral law without any fear of consequence despite the presence of the police and electoral officers.
Both witnesses were cross-examined by Babatunde Ogala (SAN), counsel to the second respondent, after which the trial was adjourned to 6 September 2021.
