Lagos state has recorded two more deaths from COVID-19 complications.
Akin Abayomi, the state commissioner for health, who confirmed the news, said the state recorded 39 new cases of the disease on Sunday which brings the total cases to 1,123.
Two hundred and forty-seven patients have been discharged and 30 deaths have been recorded so far.
“39 new #COVID19 Infection confirmed in Lagos on the 3rd of May, 2020. The total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 1123. 2 additional #COVID19 related deaths were recorded, bringing the total of such deaths in Lagos to 30,” he said.

The lockdown imposed on Lagos, Abuja and Ogun by the federal government was relaxed on Monday.

The Lagos state government had released several guidelines to prevent the risk of transmission among residents following the relaxation.
Among the new directives imposed in Lagos is a dusk till dawn curfew.
