The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has sealed off multiple establishments across the state over alleged noise pollution.

Facilities sealed include churches, guest houses, and a printing press.

In a statement on Wednesday, Babatunde Ajayi, general-manager of LASEPA, said the move was in line with ensuring compliance with environmental laws and public health.

Ajayi said the areas targeted were Ikeja, Mushin, Gbagada, and Maryland.

The LASEPA boss added that the facilities contravened environmental regulations despite several warnings from the agency.
