The Lagos government has announced the diversion of traffic on the Iya Alaro Bridge, otherwise known as Ikorodu road.
In a traffic advisory released by the state government on Monday, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the transportation commissioner, advised motorists to use alternative routes to allow for the rehabilitation of the road.
Osiyemi said officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) will be deployed to the construction zones and alternative routes for traffic management.
“Motoring public are advised to use the following mapped-out alternative routes,” the traffic advisory reads.
