Leicester City owner’s helicopter crashes at King Power Stadium

A helicopter belonging to Leicester City FC owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed at the King Power Stadium after the Foxes’ Premier League match against West Ham on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the club’s car park. Srivaddhanaprabha was aboard the chopper but it is unclear who else was.

Following the incident, police cars and emergency services rushed towards the car park where flames had engulfed the helicopter.

The Foxes had earlier drawn 1-1 against the Hammers with Wilfred Ndidi’s strike cancelling out Fabien Balbuena’s opener.

The crash was reportedly caused by a problem with the tail fin on the helicopter.
