The senate will resume sitting on Tuesday.

In a notice to the senators on Sunday, Nelson Ayewoh, clerk of the senate, said the session will hold at 10am.

The development is coming after Patrick Giwa, clerk of the house of representatives, notified lawmakers in the lower chamber that legislative business would resume on Tuesday.

Both chambers of the national assembly had suspended sitting following the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
