How it went: TheCable Colloquium

  1. There has been no comments so far because Nigerians have had it. They are confused, confounded and shell-shocked. They have absolutely no faith in government which is a terrible shame because we surely need government. Nigerians have to separate the impression of doing the bidding of The World Bank and The IMF from that of following our gut feeling as can be determined by such open forum as The Cable Coloqium. The posturing of government appointees like CBN directors doesn’t count for anything. Apparently everyone of them is now a politician. . In the final analysis, the Naira has to be devalued. As a failed manufacturer and pretender of an analyst, I have dwelt extensively on the necessary road not taken as regards industrial development and job creation in Nigeria.
