Liverpool have been drawn against faltering German champions, Bayern Munich, in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
Liverpool, who qualified for the knockout round of the UCL at Napoli’s expense, will slug it out against 2001 champions, Bayern, who are nine points behind Bundesliga leaders, Borussia Dortmund.
The Reds won the 2005 edition and were beaten last season by Real Madrid in the final. They will play the first leg in England, with Jurgen Klopp visiting home for the second leg in Germany.
Other interesting pairings see faltering English giant, Manchester United, set to face mega-rich PSG for the first time in Europe.
