Nigerian defender Steven Eze has been unveiled by Bulgarian clubside Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
The former Kano Pillars player signed for the Bulgarian top side while on duty with the CHAN Eagles in Morocco last month.
The 23-year-old has promised to make a difference for Lokomotiv in their quest for a Bulgarian title.
“I am happy to be a part of a big club like Lokomotiv Plovdiv, and I can not wait to make my debut for the team, and I will do all my best to make this great club go forward,” he said.

Eze was among Nigeria’s stand out players at the Championship.
Although Nigeria finished runners-up to Morocco, Eze has set his sights on playing at the 2018 World Cup.
“Playing the African Nations Championship and representing your national team there is a great honour for me,” he had said.

“A dream for every footballer is to play a final of such rank. Unfortunately, we lost to Morocco, but I had the opportunity to compete alongside strong and proven players, and I also had a lot of experience. I hope that with my good games for Nigeria I can participate in the World Cup in Russia in June.”
Eze joins Nigerian players such as Mohammed Musa and Mustafa Abdullah as the three non-EU nationals signed up by Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
