Maigari’s committee disqualifies Giwa from NFF elections

The Aminu Maigari-led electoral committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has disqualified Chris Giwa from the September 4 elections.

The Maigari-led congress cleared candidates that would contest for positions in the federation, in total disregard for the warning of the Giwa-led NFF  against conducting elections on Thursday, September 4.

“The NFF electoral committee, pursuant to its mandate from the NFF general assembly, has concluded the screening of candidates for the NFF executive committee elections 2014 and cleared the following persons to contest in the elections,” read a statement on the electoral committee’s website.

The cleared candidates are:
