President Bola Tinubu has mourned the death of Jeremiah Useni, former minister of the federal capital territory (FCT) and retired military officer.
Useni, a retired army officer, died on Thursday at the age of 82 after a protracted illness.
In a statement on Friday, Tinubu described Useni as a man of courage and dedication who inspired younger officers to prioritise the nation’s interests.
The president extended condolences to the late general’s family, friends, military colleagues, and political associates, highlighting his contributions both as a soldier and a politician.
