Leicester City scored three second half goals to overcome Manchester United 4-2 in their English Premier League (EPL) encounter at the King Power stadium on Saturday.
The Foxes and United exchanged goals in the first period before Brendan Rodgers’ men ran away with a hard-fought victory, thanks to late goals from Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka.
The loss ended Man United’s run of 29 away matches in the EPL without defeat.
Mason Greenwood opened the scoring with a wonderfully crafted goal early on but it was cancelled out by a goal of similar beauty from Youri Tielemans.

Injury to Raphael Varane, Man United defender, meant Harry Maguire was rushed back into the squad and the captain was again at fault as Caglar Soyuncu tapped in to give Leicester the lead on 78 minutes.
Marcus Rashford, in his first game of the season, equalised four minutes later but Vardy restored Leicester’s lead almost immediately before Daka, the Zambian striker who joined in the summer, sealed the win in added time.
The victory was Leicester’s first in five league matches, while Man United, expected to be title contenders this season, have not won their last three league matches.

Earlier, Liverpool romped to a comfortable 5-0 win at Watford to momentarily replace Chelsea at the top of the EPL table. A hattrick from Roberto Firmino and goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah ensured there was no joy for Claudio Ranieri, the recently appointed manager of Watford.
