Antony, who follows Erik Ten Hag, new Man United manager, and defender Lisandro Martinez from Ajax to United, becomes the club’s fifth summer signing, joining the likes of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Tyrell Malacia.
With the deal including £4.27m in add-ons, Antony will be the third most expensive signing in Manchester United’s history — behind Paul Pogba’s £93.3 million transfer from Juventus and Romelu Lukaku’s £90 million move from Everton.
