Man United to face Sevilla in Europa League quarter-finals

Manchester United have been drawn against Sevilla, the Spanish La Liga side, in the quarter-finals of the Europa League at a draw held on Friday afternoon.

The English Premier League giants are set to face their fourth Spanish opposition in this year’s competition following encounters with Real Sociedad at the group stage, and the eliminations of both Barcelona and Real Betis at the knockout stages.

United and Sevilla last met at the round-of-16 stage of the UEFA Champions League in 2018 when the Spanish side dumped the Red Devils out of the competition.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma will face Feyenoord while Sporting Lisbon, conquerors of Arsenal in the previous round, will face Juventus.
