“Strive to become the best version of your original self. That’s where your true fulfillment in life lies.”
― Edmond Mbiaka

Everyone fails, some say they don’t fail, they only learn.

It is also important to understand that not being able to achieve something equates to failure for some. So much has been said about learning from failure, there abound many lessons from not doing something right, to doing something right at the wrong time.

There are many ways to interpret what failure really means. One of the most intriguing for me is this; the ultimate failure is having success without fulfillment.

This is all shades of contradictory but before you close your mind, understand this; Success is subjective.  Life really is about being fulfilled, so if you do something well, but you don’t find fulfillment in it, technically, it is failure.

How?

How do you explain people who switch from discipline to discipline despite doing exceptionally well? How do you explain those who in all sense of the humanistic meaning of the word ‘success,’ claim to not have found satisfaction?

Actions should stem from a place of belonging. A place where the value you create resonates with your principles and beliefs, because if they don’t you might achieve something good, you might seemingly create value, but you might not find that peace within. This is fulfillment.

You might feel good if you engage in a humanitarian endeavor like cleaning the streets, but you won’t find fulfillment if what you’re more avid about is standing against drug abuse.

Fulfillment is inherently a function of a thought process which suggests a personable belief system irrespective of external factors which is why we all have those things we naturally gravitate towards.

However, in the quest for success, we sometimes neglect this truth, and choose the path of least resistance, as long as we are doing something ‘successful.’ This is an act of unconscious living.

Living consciously means doing the things that we find fulfillment in every day, one task at a time. That in itself is success.

It’s the end of the month.  Looking ahead, March with fulfillment.

Remember Freedom is Peace; Optimism is Nature; Action is always within reach. BE MORE!
