Mary Ojulari, a business and finance executive, has launched the Mary Ojulari Foundation to tackle socio-economic challenges and empower women and youths.
In a statement on Monday, Ojulari said the foundation aims to create sustainable change and systemic transformation across Nigeria and beyond through enterprise solutions, education, advocacy, and community outreach.
“Our mission is to create opportunities for individuals and communities to thrive through innovation, collaboration, and empowerment,” she said.
“This foundation is a reflection of my lifelong passion for uplifting others and building a better tomorrow.”

Speaking about the foundation’s flagship programme, the Vanguard Fellowship, Ojulari said it is designed to support young female entrepreneurs tackling local challenges.
She said the initiative will feature “a rigorous selection process, a two-week Ignite Bootcamp, and tailored mentorship”.
The finance executive said the programme aims to empower entrepreneurs while driving economic growth and job creation in underserved communities.

“Fellows will also have access to a growth ecosystem and receive up to $5,000 in seed grants to scale their ventures,” she added.
“The fellowship will launch its pilot cohort in early 2025. We will shortlist 40 applicants for intensive entrepreneurial training, after which 20 fellows will be selected to receive funding, coworking spaces, and mentorship.”
She also highlighted the foundation’s Aspire Scholarship Programme, which she said will support children and young people who have lost one or both parents by providing academic and vocational opportunities to build sustainable futures.
“Our advocacy and outreach initiatives also focus on promoting equality, human capital development, and sustainable local networks,” she said.
