“And still undefffeeeattteed,” cried the announcer.
Floyd Mayweather defeated Manny Pacquiao on a unanimous points decision.
It was scored 118-110, 116-112, 116-112.
The win, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, didn’t come easy for the American, as he was made to endure a flurry of punches from Pacquiao, and he backed against the ropes several times. But the Filipino could not land the knockout he needed.

The fighters lasted all 12 rounds, with Pacquiao landing 81 punches to Mayweather’s 148.
The showdown between the two best boxers of their generation dubbed the ‘Fight of the Century’ had been more than five years in the making. And when it eventually happened, Mayweather won using defence and accuracy to outpoint Pacquiao in the richest fight ever.
“I want to thank God for this victory,” Mayweather said after the fight.

Mayweather, who’s now 48-0, said he has one more fight remaining with Showtime – his promoters.
“I’m almost 40 years old,” he said about a fight in September, which could be his last.
Pacquiao, though, said he thought he won the fight.
“I thought I won the fight,” he said.
