Mikel fails to pay tribute to Mourinho

Jose Mourinho left Chelsea through ‘mutual consent’ with the club’s management on Thursday.

A few hours after the manager’s break-up with the club, Chelsea players paid respects and honour to Mourinho via social media – except for a few.

Nigeria international, Jon Obi Mikel, refused to pay tribute to the Portuguese who brought him to Stamford Bridge in 2006.

Mikel’s social media handles did not have anything in form of any tribute or goodwill message to his former manager.

His last post on Instagram which dated back to December 16 had photos of his twin daughters in the Blues shirt.

”Thank you for all you have done for me. I owe you a lot and we will all miss you. Good luck in the future,” Fabregas posted on Thursday; adding to an instagram post: ”I know you will be back soon”.
