Ramatu Aliyu, minister of state for the federal capital territory (FCT), has spoken on plans to develop the housing sector in the nation’s capital.
Speaking at her office on Thursday, she said the ministry would partner with relevant organisations that would help with the actualisation of the housing policy.
While expressing the determination to drive the policy to success in “the shortest possible time, she said the ministry will partner with luxury real estate company, Sijumoto Construction, as part of means to achieve this goal.
“We’ll partner with the private sector to achieve this goal in the shortest possible time,” she said.

“One of the organisations that we are looking up to partnering with is Sijumoto Construction.”
Sijibomi Ogundele, chief executive officer of Sijumoto Construction, said the partnership would transform Abuja’s housing sector.
“We spoke about numerous projects and subjects which focus on the FCT ministry’s resolve to transform Abuja into the luxury capital of Africa,’’ Ogundele said.

“The meeting synergised our thinking and vision with special focus on the floating Water Park of Jabi to the Abuja Diamond City which aim to merge luxury and class into one space.”
He said the FCT has offered the company an opportunity to contribute to infrastructure development.
