MMM freeze ‘still intact’ 72 hours after comeback

MMM

MMM Nigeria returned on Friday morning, 24 hours ahead of its scheduled date, but 72 hours later, its freeze on accounts is still intact, TheCable can report.

After its return on Friday, some MMM participants who spoke with TheCable said that although they were able to request for their money, had not been paid as the system still seems to be on a freeze.

Kolade Ogunwande, who said he put in N100,000 in November 2016, and referred two other people to the scheme, said his money had appreciated to N214,000 as of Friday, so he immediately request for it.

“They have not paid me anything, but they said we should be wait patiently to be matched with participants willing to invest in MMM. I have no choice than to be optimistic,” he told TheCable.

Lara Makanjuola, who also invested N100,000 in the scheme, said she was expecting N186,000, but she had not been able to request for her money.

She said anytime she requested to get help, the website said “mavros are not available for withdrawal”.

“I was supposed to collect my money two days to when accounts got frozen, but the person I was matched with didn’t pay.”

The freeze message participants are getting now

An Abuja-based couple, who requested not to be named, invested over N2 million in the scheme; they have also not been able to withdraw their money.

As of Monday, when any participant seeks to withdraw, the website puts up a message that links them to its previous freeze message, below:

“As usual, in the New Year season the System is experiencing heavy workload. Moreover, it has to deal with the constant frenzy provoked by the authorities in the mass media.

“The things are still going well; the participants feel calm; everyone gets paid – as you can see, there haven’t been any payment delays or other problems yet – but!.. it is better to avoid taking risk.: (Moreover, there are almost three weeks left to the New Year).

“Hence, on the basis of the above mentioned, from now on all confirmed Mavro will be frozen for a month. The reason for this measure is evident. We need to prevent any problems during the New Year season, and then, when everything calms down, this measure will be cancelled.”

Mavrodians, as MMM participants are called, are optimistic that their pay will come through, considering, the scheme’s last message of “hope for the poor”.

In the message, MMM said it “will only pay a certain amount per day”.

“Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal,” it said.

    1. MMM is nothing but an international fraud petronizec only by two set of people.(1) the poor who see this as God given opportunity make easy money as capital to start up in life.(2) rich but greedy people who despite Gods blessings in their life still look for double-money. To this last group woe unto them. But to the first group…..take heart, a poor man is vulnerable to anything.

  1. MMM is a big international fraud and I promise participants that they won’t get paid. As soon as I learnt on Friday 13 January that they say that the rich wait for the poor to be paid I knew that there is scheming to defraud Nigerians more and then close and disappear. The scheming is to commence paying a few of those who only invested small amount of money and by this many more people will rush to invest believing that the business is genuine. Then as soon as they realize much money they close and disappear. They have no intention of paying too much, hence they claim those who invested big amount should wait.in the first place, to a right thinking man their so-called new payment terms should tell him that thus scheme is distressed and there is no money to pay. Nigerians be wise.

    1. You’re forgetting none of the money invested in mmm went to “mmm’s bank account” but to fellow Nigerian citizens. So is it mmm defrauding people or Nigerians defrauding themselves? Besides Nigerians were warned of the risk in the first place so let’s not blame jack for Jill’s decision

    2. You don’t know what you are taking about, mind you mmm does not have any Central that our money descended to,so stop vilifying about the community, mind your business

    3. You see where you got it wrong mmm is not a platform where you pay money into their own account for them to pay others, so why would they close and run away when people start investing more.

    4. d question is are they making payment into mmm account… first ans dat question b4 u conclude… and mind u dat mmm generates their own money from google ads….

  2. Mavrodi in any country would find the poor and greedy people who believe in a slight enrichment. If a person pays 2 million Naer Mavrodi this is diagnosis. Greetings from Russia

  3. 6. Mmm will not come back u all thought . now its back the news is its a fraud. we want to be defrauded by the system. its not your money we put in. who are u helping with your propaganda of the system being OK or not. for all of you that are not members but are after the fall of the system, I advice you go help yourself before helping others.

some of you cannot remember last you gave a begged 10 naira and you are here making comments that will soon shook your throats.

  7. Let all mmm participants in Nigeria help to revive the system by PH and also invite people to join, so the circulation can continue again for real

  8. My neighbour request to GH on Friday and on Saturday he was marched then on Sunday he gets paid through bank stransfer.pls let’s be patience nigerians mmm is paying

  9. People keep saying monies are not deposited into MMMs account but to fellow Nigerians (as HELP) – But I ask, Is it not MMM that tells you who and what account you should deposit money into? if MMM tells 2 million Nigerians who are in the scheme to deposit into one single account.lol and then withdraws and moves on, how will any of you know.? Common sense, wisdom. My friend has 1.2m invested in MMM ( I just found out) and still hasn’t seen his money, children have been sent home from school bcos no school fees.smh – if only this government will try and make things better, things like this fraud won’t have a place in our society.

    1. You truly understand the workings of MMM. Participants keep talking of no central account and whereas they go paying to strangers been matched them by the system(mmm). How can any participant be so sure that MMM admin is not the culprit that drains the system of funds?

  10. Like play, like play. I requested for help of 208,000 on Saturday. I got paid today. MMM is truely back. It rocks!! Thanks mmm.

  12. Sorry for those who will never wish anything good should happen to others… MMM Nigeria will survive the matter their propaganda… Even our corrupt police have no good or fabricated reason to chase after MMM operators… Just be patient, it will soon be as usual… Together we change the world

  13. Its even a risk not to take risk in the first place.. Check the lives of these critics, they have nothing to show. How can i keep money in bank and at the end of the day experience shortage after trading wit the same, make profit & pay their staff & nothing accrues to mine. Only a fool will criticize mmm

  14. MMM is paying for i gh on behalf of one of my referrals on sat he got the alert of 29000 yesterday morning,.The basic fact is everybody cannot be paid at once . We all need to exercise patience. MMM is still very much alive

  15. MMM rocks, patience is a virtue. Even after public holidays or brakes, there will be alot of traffics & cues in banks.

  16. Please let all participants of MMM be …. I have gotten help and have also been paid …. Please let us be…. And stop creating unnecessary panic for us… I beg once again. … Leave us alone…. God bless u

  17. My 100,000 money is there, it is painful that MMM has not paid me. But that notwithstanding no regret for joining the scheme. At a stage it appeared the only hope Nigerians have

  18. together we rule d world, may i ask which world u want to rule.is it d crminal world.lolz.pple embace hardwork n u will make it.short cut only leads to poverty.hw many billionaires have u heard made it tru ponzi scheme

  19. I couldn’t log into my mmm account. the captcha is redirecting me. have been typing captcha several times to no avail.

  20. Your comment..I requested for help on Saturday
day last, but till now,I have not be matched.MMM should remember me. Long Live MMM Nigeria! Despite I have not gotten help of #175,000, I have pledged to provide help for someone.

  21. Mmm has come to stay, my prayer is that mmm should pay every one, and let those that don’t when the progress of mmm should put to shame:

  22. Mmm has made people to b lazy and worthlessness, however, people should b creative and look for something to do with their hard earn money than trow it to mmm which could b a scarm……. Note mmm is not Godly for any Christian to join.

  23. I’m supposed to have received my money by now,yet no news, please help and together let’s put our critics to sleep

  24. I requested to get help on Sunday, and on my dashboard I was told to wait patiently to be matched by another participants. But this morning I can not find the wait to be matched status anymore and I have not been matched with anyone to pay me. Also I can not request to get help anymore as they said I have exceed my daily request for Gh. What do I do?

  25. My own case is that i never requested for Get Help but was Automatically merged by MMM to be paid by someone and the funny thing is that the phone number of the sender is not complete, two numbers were missing so i cant reach him should incase he doesnt know and uptill now, his time remains few hours but he hasnt paid in yet. His name is Opefed with the number 23481692787 which is incomplete!
