The Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) says troops of sector 4 bombed an identified hideout of the members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).

TheCable understands that the military received intelligence and validation on the location of the terrorists after which the sector dropped artillery bombardment on the ISWAP hideout in Bulabulin, Mobbar LGA in Borno.

A military source who spoke with TheCable said the bombardment led to the death of nine terrorists while the “entire hideout turned to ashes.”

The source said despite the artillery dropped on the hideout, a few of the terrorists escaped and fled in the direction of Lake Chad.
