James Faleke, secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, says the list of the party officials for the 2023 elections is incomplete.
Falake said this in reaction to reports that governors elected on the platform of the ruling party are displeased over the exclusion of their nominees from the campaign council.
The 422-member list was released to mixed reactions on Saturday.
Some of the governors reportedly threatened to pull out of the campaign if their demands are not granted.

In a statement on Monday, the lawmaker said the council did not disregard the names suggested by the governors.
“The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress hereby clarifies that the list of members of the campaign council released at the weekend, is a partial list,” he said.
“It contains only the directors, deputy directors, secretaries of directorates and key stakeholders.

“The council also assures our esteemed governors that the secretariat of the council has not jettisoned the names submitted by them.
“Some of the nominees of our governors have emerged as part of the leadership, while others will soon emerge as members of the various directorates.”
