Randy Waldrum, Super Falcons head coach, says his girls will defeat Ghana in the 2022 Africa Womens Cup of Nations qualifier.
The nine-time African champions were drawn to face Ghana in the first round playoff.
Waldrum told TheCable that he is confident his team will qualify for the tournament in Morocco.
“I have a tremendous amount of confidence in our team and the way we want to play. And from what I have seen so far with working with them, I feel so confident that we will prevail,” Waldrum told TheCable.

“And I don’t think any of these fixtures are necessarily easy because you cannot underestimate your competition. But I am sure that we will be confident and take them on.
“Like I said earlier, I am extremely confident in our qualifying for the tournament in Morocco. And I look forward to all the upcoming games.
“I am really very excited for I know that they are a very very good and strong team, to open up with. So, I am looking forward to the challenge in the competition.”

The winner between the Falcons and the Black Queens will take on the winner of the Niger-Cote d’Ivoire fixture in the final qualifying round.
The Falcons are vying to compete for a tenth title in the 12th AWCON which will be hosted by Morocco.
