It was a disappointing end to the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) for Nigeria’s Super Eagles as they were outclassed in a 4-0 drubbing by Morocco.
The Atlas Lions were dominant against the Super Eagles who went down to 10 men after Moses Eneji was red carded
Morocco raced to a one-goal lead on the stroke of half-time when Zakaria Hadraf’s effort went past goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye.
There were more problems for Nigeria after the break as Eneji got his marching orders over a rough challenge.

The Atlas Lions made the numerical advantage count in the 61st minute when Walid El Karti headed home the rebound after Ajiboye had initially stopped Ismail El Hadad’s volley.
Morocco had a two-goal lead and one man advantage; the match was further slipping away from Nigeria.
Three minutes after the second goal went in, the Nigerian goalkeeper punched El Hadad’s deflected shot into the path of Hadraf, who masterfully fired home his team’s third of the night.

Ayoub Kaabi made it 4-0 in the 74th minute with a clinical finish as the hosts won their first CHAN tournament.
Morocco is the first host nation to win the tournament.
