AHMED MUSA
Ahmed Musa’s Premier dream was eventually fulfilled in 2016. On July 8, 2016, Musa moved to Leicester City for a club record £16.6 million.
He scored his first goals with the club in a friendly against Barcelona in the 2016 International Champions Cup, which ended in a 4–2 loss. He made his Premier League debut on August 13, 2016 in the club’s opening-day 2–1 defeat to Hull City. He scored his first Premier League goal with the opening goal in a 3–1 victory over Crystal Palace on October 22, 2016.
Since then, Musa comes on and off in games. He is yet to become a starter but he is a crucial part of the team when his pace and classy game style is required. For the Super Eagles, he does not start all games nowadays but is vital to the tactics of Genort Rohr.
For a player who has scored 11 goals in 60 games, his roles are well-defined, such as dousing tension when he came on in the dying moments of the Algerian game at Uyo. A former captain (he was compelled to relinquish the band to Mike), Musa is a fantastic team player.
