Moses came to life at Chelsea, Mikel struck gold… how Super Eagles stars fared in 2016

ISAAC SUCCESS

Isaac SuccessThe story of Isaac Success is very different from that of Kelechi Iheanacho, for the out-going year. Before Iheanacho shone at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Dubai in 2013, it was Isaac Success that was the big potential – until an injury ended his tournament.

On July 1, 2016, Success agreed a five-year deal with Watford in a record transfer fee, estimated around £12.5 million from Granada. He got his first call-up to the senior Nigeria side for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia in October 2016.

But it was not a great year for Success, as the season didn’t exactly click for him. His two goals in four games for the Nigerian national U-20 team remain his last national team appearances.
