OGENYI ONAZI
The vital role that Ogenyi Onazi plays for the Super Eagles of Nigeria is all too apparent anytime he is injured, which happened at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil where the Eagles got caught easily from then on. It was the same situation at the 2013 Confederations Cup, which he missed.
Onazi again returned to the Eagles in 2016 and his fighting style against Zambia in Ndola in the opening World Cup 2018 qualification game reassured Coach Rohr that he has a defensive midfielder who can play so many roles. Now with Trabzonspor, Onazi remains a regular on the Eagles team list.
