Moses sees red as Arsenal win record 13th FA Cup

Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-1 to win their 13th FA Cup at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The game saw Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi benched and Chelsea’s Victor Moses sent off for simulation.

Alexis Sanchez latched onto a deflection, after beating N’Golo Kante, and charged into the 18-yard area to slot the ball past Thibaut Courtois for Arsenal’s lead in the 4th minute.

Victor Moses was sent off after he hit the ground in the 18-yard box without much contact in the 68th minute.

Diego Costa turned the ball home to level for Chelsea in the 76th minute.

Aaron Ramsey sent a downward header into the bottom right past Courtois for Arsenal’s second in the 78th minute.

The Gunners are yet to lose any of their six FA Cup finals since losing to Liverpool in 2001.

Arsenal Wenger is now the most successful manager in FA Cup history, having amassed seven winners’ medals.

Seven of the last eleven FA Cups have been won by either Arsenal or Chelsea.
