Moses Daddy-Ajala Simon, KAA Gent of Belgium and Super Eagles forward, believes a miracle can happen when Nigeria face the Pharaohs of Egypt by getting the maximum six points in the double-header later this month.
Speaking with TheCable from his base in Belgium, Moses said: “I believe in God and miracles still happen.
“Quite alright, everyone say its a difficult game. But with God all things are possible. No one can tell what will really happen. We just need the support from the fans.
“Nigerians should pray for us, then we will see the results at the end of the two games.”

Moses is relying on the experience of the Eagles coaches in defeating Egypt.
“The coaches have played the game before; they have experience and are well-grounded too. So I believe so much in them doing a great job with the quality of players they have invited for the game,” he said.
While hoping on a team effort to beat Egypt Moses, also expressed his desire for personal glory.

“By God’s grace I hope I will be able to score one or more goals to help my nation and team win this two legged game against the Egyptian,” he said.
At club football, Moses’s team, KAA Gent, were beaten in the UEFA Champions League by Wolfsburg of Germany and thus prevented from reaching the quarter finals. Moses was apparently disappointed.
“Very painful losing to Wolfsburg!” he exclaimed.
“We were hoping that we would have qualified to the quarter finals but that is a game of football. It’s normal. The team is not happy because we tried our best. We made the mistake in the first game, which led to our exit at this stage.”

However, he remained grateful for the opportunity to play in the league, saying: “To me, it’s a great experience to play in the UCL, which is one of the highest levels you can play in football. So I thank God for that.”
