Moses watches as Man City defeat Chelsea

Manchester City sent a strong signal to English Premier League contenders by defeating Chelsea FC 1-0 at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Both teams had impressive midweek wins but Pep Guardiola triumphed over Antonio this weekend.

The visitors who were without Sergio Aguero due to a broken rib sustained in an accident in Amsterdam, had Gabriel Jesus leading the attack, with Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling in support.

Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata sustained an injury in the 35th minute and substituted with Willian.

Nigeria’s wing-back Victor Moses was on the bench throughout the duration of the game.

Kevin de Bruyne broke the deadlock in the 67th when he powered down the middle of Chelsea’s park, drifted right to left slightly, then smacked a stunning riser into the top right with no chance for Thibaut Courtois at all.
