Adamu Muazu, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says the party has learnt lessons from the March 28 presidential and national assembly election.
Muazu, who said the party was prepared to be a strong opposition, expressed appreciation to those who have supported the PDP over the years.
“Thank you for your support to our party over the years. We will still need a strong opposition to keep the new government in check,” he wrote on Twitter.
“I want to encourage you all to go out and vote the PDP at all levels on Saturday. We have learnt some very useful lessons with the March 28 elections and want to assure Nigerians, you will see a new PDP.
