MultiChoice Ghana has announced a price adjustment for DStv packages, effective April 1.
According to a report by Citinewsroom, a Ghanaian news website, the company plans to implement an average increase of 15 percent across all subscription packages.
The report, on Wednesday, said DStv had increased prices twice in 2024, which infuriated customers.
According to Citinewsroom, the monthly fee for DStv Premium subscribers will rise from GHS750 to GHS865 (N84,896), Compact Plus will increase to GHS570 (N55,943), while the Compact package will rise to R380 (N37,295).

By April, customers on Family will pay GHS190 (N18,647), the news site said.
To subscribe to Access, DStv Lite, and DStv Asia Stand Alone packages, customers are expected to pay GHS99 (N9,716), GHS59 (N5,790), and GHS350 (N34,351), respectively.
The pay-TV firm also said the Great Wall Addon package would cost GHS80 (N7,851), adding that subscribers under Fresh Add-On, French Touch Add-On, and Fresh Plus Add-On will pay GHS250 (N24,536), GHS150 (N14,721), and GHS500 (49,073) respectively.

The company said Premium with Asia Add-On and Premium with French Add-On packages would also cost GHS1,215 (N119,247) and GHS1,365 (N133,965), respectively
In addition, DStv Ghana said the price of the HD-PVR, Extraview, and Add Movies would increase to GHS115 (N11,286) across the board.
MultiChoice had announced an increase in the cost of subscriptions for its DStv and GOtv packages in Nigeria.
Similarly, the company announced price adjustments for DStv and Showmax in South Africa, also effective April 1.
