Simon Achuba, Kogi state deputy governor, says his security details earlier withdrawn has been restored in full and have since resumed duties.
Achuba made this known in a statement signed by Akor Sylvester, his chief press secretary, and made available to journalists on Monday.
While addressing journalists on Sunday, the deputy governor had said his life was in danger following the withdrawal of his security details on the orders of Yahaya Bello, governor of the state.
In his statement on Monday, he thanked the media for assisting him in getting the information out to the public.

The deputy governor also commended the inspector-general of police and the Kogi state commissioner of police for their timely response.
He enjoined the police to monitor the officers they send to sensitive duty posts to guide them against being used for unlawful assignments that could tarnish the image of the force.
The deputy governor promised to sustain a good working relationship with the press, stating the media performs a critical role in the development of society.
