Japan’s Naomi Osaka beat Petra Kvitova to clinch her second consecutive Grand Slam women’s singles title.
Osaka beat Kvitoka in three straight sets of 7-6, 5-7, 6-4 to win the 2019 Australian Open.
By virtue of her win, the 21-year-old rising star is now ranked number one in the world.
She has become the youngest female tennis number one player since Caroline Wozniacki.

A year ago, Osaka was ranked at No. 72 and had never won a WTA title.
The 2018 US Open champion went home with $4.1 million prize money.
