Ndidi, Iheanacho star as Leicester draw with Swansea

Leicester City drew 1-1 with visitors, Swansea, on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.

Claude Puel’s men got the breakthrough through a superb play by Iheanacho, who skinned two defenders with a fine bit of skill and fed the ball to Jamie Vardy.

From there on, it was business as usual for the England international, who gave the hosts a deserved lead in the 17th minute.

Swansea were fortunate not to have gone further behind as Alfie Mawson provided a spectacular block to deny Kelechi Iheanacho, while the offside flag ruled out Wilfred Ndidi’s cool finish in the 29th minute.

Federico Fernandez got the equaliser for Swansea in the 53d minute when he headed in an inswinging corner from Sung-Yeung Ki.

The result takes Swansea out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.
