The National Examinations Council (NECO) has accredited some foreign schools for its Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
In a statement on Saturday, Azeez Sani, the council’s spokesperson, said the newly accredited schools are located in the Niger Republic and Equatorial Guinea.
Sani said the NECO accreditation team visited the schools to assess their readiness for the SSCE and BECE.
He added that accrediting additional foreign schools reflects NECO’s dedication to delivering quality education and assessments beyond Nigeria’s borders.
