For the third week running, fuel has been a scarce commodity in the country.
From Lagos to Abuja to Enugu, Kaduna, fuel queues have taken over major roads. The situation has grown worse despite assurances from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Some aggrieved Nigerians decided to vent on Twitter.
Here are some tweets on the situation:

Mehn, this #fuelscarcity is on steroids. Just bought fuel for my generator at N300/litre from the black market guys on my street. This is the highest I've ever paid for a litre.
If only we have a Minister of Petroleum & a President, things wouldn't be this bad would there?— Sani (@SaniKadiri) December 22, 2017

See the hypocrisy of Nigerians. So because Buhari is the president now, no protest against the #fuelscarcity and illegal increase in pump price. Na God go judge all of Una!

Good Morning From Ibadan Nigeria. This should be the longest #fuelscarcity queue in Ibadan from Elewure Sango area to OandO ⛽ Barrack road junction Mokola area Ibadan 8:50am. Nigerians are very HOPEFUL people. @Gidi_Traffic pic.twitter.com/rBKdWxQ9wh

To those who have access to the Presidency…
We showed understanding when they increased pump price to N145.
Any attempt to increase it again would be rejected outrightly with massive protest..
This is not the change we want.
Pure Nonsense… #fuelscarcity

This is the 3rd fuel scarcity under Buhari in 2 1/2 years. First one was in Sept-December 2015. For 3 months Nigeria suffered but PMB didn't blink. Second one was in April/May 2016 which he cunningly increased fuel from N87 – N145 and now December 2017. Buhari and #fuelscarcity pic.twitter.com/hjw70oeshJ

Some Nigerians are bringing Religion into this #FuelScarcity issue, they said Fuel is only scares during Christmas period but available during Sallah. Is this not religious madness?

I can't believe my ears right now. A beggar soliciting for money from someone beside me just prayed: 'you'll get petrol in Jesus name'

It's been bleak Christmas every year since Buhari took over in May 2015.
Nigerians slept in fuel stations across the country yesterday.

Successive administration since 80’s can’t solve two problems with century old technologies.
Refining crude oil & providing electricity.
Worst still, these folks can’t import & distribute refined products successfully. This Aberration is peculiar to only Nigeria.#fuelscarcity— Dapo (@adedapo11) December 21, 2017
Kachikwu should now end #fuelscarcity but will be sidelined when contracts are to be awarded.

What annoys me most about this #FuelScarcity is that after struggling to buy the fuel you will end up finishing it in traffic caused by queues of those buying fuel! Sad!
