Newspaper Headlines: Afenifere, Ohanaeze back political solution on Kanu, Igboho cases

The parade of suspects in connection with the invasion of the residence of Mary Odili, justice of the supreme court, appeared on the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

Daily Independent reports that a “fake” chief superintendent of police who was among the suspects paraded in connection with the raid on Odili’s home claimed he works for Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of federation. The newspaper says 3,906 inmates who escaped from different correctional facilities in the country are still at large.
