The resignation of seven deputy national officers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Nation reports that governors of the PDP are divided over the fate of Uche Secondus, national chairman of the party. Police have confirmed that 17 people were killed and 85 houses razed in Plateau communities, the newspaper says.
