The ruling of the Oyo state high court restraining the federal government from arresting Sunday Adeyemo, youth leader better known as Sunday Igboho, made the headlines of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch newspaper reports that Uche Secondus, national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is battling for survival as the plot for his removal is mounting. The court has stopped the federal government from arresting and freezing the accounts of Igboho.
Daily Independent says there is a lifeline for Secondus in the leadership crisis rocking PDP as the seven deputy national officers that resigned appeared to be sheathing their swords. The newspaper says flood wreaked havoc in Osogbo, Osun state, rendering many homeless.
